Cut beef ribs into sections, sear in the inner pot to render beef fat (directly heating the inner pot). Then add carrots, white radish, onions, ginger, scallion stalks and sauté until fragrant.

Add seasoning, bay leaves, star anise, cinnamon sticks, and sesame oil, then stir-fry until caramelized. Add enough water to cover the ingredients.

Turn off the direct heat, pour 1 cup of water into the outer pot, then place the inner pot back into the Cooker. (Please close the inner pot cover)

Turn the function knob to "Stew" mode, cover the cooker, and press the cook
switch. Let it cook until the switch pops up and the keep-warm indicator light turns on.
